Nearly ran over an iPod in the cycle superhighway this morning. So if you are the owner or know someone who lost their iPod this morning, I have it.

Report you've found it to the local rozzershop.

Anything on it that might identify the owner, other than their terrible taste in music?

iPods (even old ones) have a place to store owners information. Is it locked, or can you access that?

(I could have had a lovely Samsung Galaxy that crashed into four pieces on the path in front of me, if I hadn't shouted to owner. The 4th piece was the case, which as she rightly pointed out, didn't do much good.)

I thought I'd put mine in the drawer under the TV.

It's not there.

Your posting explains everything.

I lived in Mile End until 1996 and must have dropped it there some years before buying it - and some years before the Superhighway was built.

Silly me!

Thanks for finding it!

I hate it when the space-time continuum makes these wacky things happen.

Yesterday I found a 50p coin I haven't even lost yet....

It's nice to see that there are some honest folk out there who don't subscribe to the "finders keepers" mentality - much unlike whoever pocketed the watch I left in the lav at work while changing last week - OK, I left it in the lav in the first place, but that doen't give someone the right to nick it. [/RANT]

Anyway, good for you. I hope the owner is more greatful than the guy whose iPhone I returned after it fell out of his bag - while he was running down the South Bank... Cue me sprinting after him in full "winter office" outfit to be met with no words of thanks, just "grunt", *snatch*, *keep on running*. Sod. [/RANT (AGAIN)]
