My daughter's iPod has powered itself off and won't come back on.

It's fully charged, there were no warnings, and she swears she hasn't dropped it (there's no sign of any damage).

Any ideas?

Tried a force resstart?

  1. If your screen is black or frozen, you might need to force restart your device. ...
  2. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
  3. On an iPod touch: Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.
