Has anyone had a knock door about carrying a box around with you for two weeks to get a £20 voucher?
It has the feel of a scam but their ID and paper work all seems legit.
You basically charge the box when you get back and it sends data about advertising billboards etc.

Don't buyfrom /respond to doorsteppers myself. Respond to one, you'll probably get added to someone's list and you'll never stop getting them on your doorstep.

IPSOS are genuine market researchers, so it'd be about gathering data on your journeys for wider information rather than personal targeting.

I used my judgment, the guy was a man of the cloth & a fellow cyclist. The wife saying I’m stupid for talking to him. Seeing legit people as scams isn’t clever in my eyes, using measured judgment and being able to trust something is clever.

Indeed they are.
A couple of months ago a lady approached me while I was taking out the bins, she was doing a survey on radio stations.
She showed me her ID, gave a brief introduction to IPSOS, the company she was working for.
I said, why not, it took about 10 minutes, I committed to fill in a week's radio listening diary (online), got a £5 voucher for compiling the diary.
She also asked if I wanted to participate in further radio surveys, I said why not, even though I listen mostly to music on Spotify.
Anyway, I now have a "listening" app on my phone that uploads to the researcher anytime music is played.
I get about £30 in vouchers for every months I keep the app on my devices.
I was suspicious because it's spyware after all, but so is Google lol
Oh, and the lady, obviously a professional market researcher, did work for a Covid survey from the Office of National Statistics that I was randomly picked to do in 2020.
I'm typing on the device I've bought from the vouchers received for taking a monthly test plus answering a few health related questions from 2020 to 2023 ^_^
