I never did have one of those new fangled heart monitors, or a cadence sensor. So I was probably not worthy of Strava in the first place :thumbsup:. Oh, and what is this "improvement" of which you speak? I'm going backwards!
I was just thinking the same this morning. Feel like I'm working as hard as I did a couple of years ago when I started but the speed seems to say otherwise. :laugh:

I'm with you on the just relax and enjoy it thing though. Last few rides I haven't had the average speed showing on the garmin so I don't even know what it is until I download the ride. I think it encourages me to be more relaxed.

It is very easy to get hung up on figures, I like tracking where I've been and how far I went, speed and time I care a great deal less about :thumbsup:
