Lucky you! I cycled from Largs to Greenock and back. Got soaked twice, and the headwind on the return leg was no fun. Top of Brisbane Glen with the rain being driven into my eyes and having to pedal downhill just to stay at 15mph.. I NEED to go to Majorcanot quite the med, but I managed a quick 20 mils aftr work with bib shorts and mitts on. have such a big cheesy smile on my face, glad im home alone and no one can see me!
750 ferry is impossible for those of us not blessed with an infernal combustion engine...ok, 750 ferry and two laps :P
Is that the Old Largs/Loch Thom Road? If so, chapeau for doing it in both directions!Lucky you! I cycled from Largs to Greenock and back. That and no chance I'm doing it twice!750 ferry is impossible for those of us not blessed with an infernal combustion engine...
The very one. On the way back I went round the Greenock cut (off road) to Cornalees, then back onto the Largs road at the south end of Loch Thom. Just started a new job in Greenock, so hoping to commute that road - when it's not raining/blowing a gale. So about once a month then!Is that the Old Largs/Loch Thom Road? If so, chapeau for doing it in both directions!
I seem to have got roped into cycling with the Belles, from Linlithgow to Edinburgh <gulp>Infact scrap that, just realised that's POP day, now I can't decide which one to do, got a rare free sat and promised a few non cycling friends a day down there
It will be my longest cycle yet, so a bit apprehensive. They can't feed me - special diet or I may explodeThat's great @ScotiaLass - you'll be well looked after ... and well fed ...
