On another note, what a day here in Glasgow weather wise:
was off, I think if I had had to commute today I would have chickened out.
The fog was so thick I could hardly see approaching cars as a pedestrian, cycling on the roads would have been suicide.
Still icy, but the forecast says it will get warmer from tomorrow, so no snow to come it seems.

Indeed- go for it !
Early in the year... 200k... Climb over the Lomonds at 100miles... Would need to ride past my back door for another 6 miles to the finish...
