They did go ahead, some of the cross-wind downhill bits I could see from my window looked VERY slow, where they normally fly ... obviously being careful!

I added about 2inches to MCL but I thought the turbore would be a better option ;-) I might just go back to keeping my own log MCL is up and down all the time 
You can always just add weekly or monthly summaries, or upload via a spreadsheet (the only tricky bit is the date format)

After yesterday's balmy but wet & windy ride, today was sunny & clear but freezing, brrr 
HJ and I went for a wee trundle to Portobello this afternoon, to be beside the seaside
. My hands & feet only warmed up properly after the uphill bits on the way back ... had to make some mince pies to counteract the calorie losses incurred (and use up the pastry 
)

P.S. @Scoosh - I am afraid the mince pies would go mouldy if we wait for the weather to come to an end ... It's a hard life, but HJ will sacrifice himself to make sure that none are wasted

My commute today was a battle against hail storms. 
Normally the wind quietens down by the time I finish, not today though, got hammered both ways
Have to eat extra chocolate to give me energy for tomorrow's commute
