How you finding the bike?

My first road bike and I love it although I switched the stock tyres to Duranos for the P protection and the cassette to a Shimano. Just wish we could get some non windy and dry days.

I've put Conti GP4000S's on mine, the freehub on my back wheel did bugger up though, I've got a spare back wheel on the bike atm

I'll run the wheels into the ground then get some handbuilts I think. Already had 1 pinged spoke.

Only took 1 winter of that for me, think I done about 700 miles on the back wheel and it was goosed

Woke up yesterday with the passion back, done a nice sunny 100km out back of stirling. Went to see the caterpillar webs at wickes in stirling too. Spooky stuff

Sun's oot and my belly is full of bacon (there were 7 rashers in the packet and it seemed daft to keep 3 of them, so bacon sannies on bread fresh out of the breadmaker has been had for this FB's breakfast!). Time to go for a wee aimless ride to burn it off........

I decided to cycle up the hilly route to Slamannan and Maddiston yesterday. I now realise that the 12-25 cassette's days may be numbered.

I took a drive up that way the other week, might head up a night in the week, I'll let you know if it's any easier on a 28 lol
