Not so much ironic as stupid and dangerous.

I have seen quite a few cars driving around with restricted visability because the driver can't be bothered to clear all the windows properly.

It seems that many drivers also can't be bothered to clear the snow off the roof. Last year in the snow I saw loads of occasions where some twonk was driving along with a pile of snow on the roof. One car had it slide off and across the windscreen when they braked, and another I saw had the snow slide off the side and across the peds on the pavement as they went around a corner.

Well, it's apt. He cleaned most of the window, just left the bits in the corners.

My wife has just got off the phone with one of her friends. Friends sister has been given fixed penalty for driving with snow on car windows (6 points?).
Hope police will issue a few more to those too idle to clean their cars off properly.

How apt...i just had a short letter published in our local papers letters column regarding windscreens.

Cyclists get a lot of mentions, usually for the wrong reasons. About time drivers got some back plus it might just make some of them think.

It's laziness in it's purist form, yesterday I seen a car with snow on it's headlights and you could hardly see them as being on.

Absolutely crazy = one sudden stop and that lot will be over the screen. I always clear snow of the top of the car. Even had to clear both cars this morning, only so I could get to hospital (early) for a pre-op assessment, now back home and off to ride to work.

The headlights are far brighter than they actually appeared to the naked eye.

And the rear of his car was much worse.

Dunno, but you could have tried banging on the back of the car, then when the driver has to get out to see whats wrong lay on the road doing a 'Ronaldo' and claim they hit you. Couldn't really argue could they?
