HELL YES!!

and you're not cheeky by jowl with the great unwashed...
Sounds better than public transport to me!

I'll have you know that the last place I worked at, I took the train every day, and yes, it might have been full of students going to college/Uni, but so what? All that young eye candy was pleasant.

....Err, anyway... sorry, I got a little distracted there.... I had to walk up quite a large hill after getting off the train, and I'll tell you, I was only ever late once or twice in the whole time I was there, as a pose to a lot who drove, as they were always stuck in traffic, and always late.
Of course, what did we always hear about?? Yes, them always moaning about how awful the traffic was.

It just strengthened my opinion that I should never feel sorry for drivers in the slightest, they had a choice of ways to get to work (not just the train) but no, even now I bet they will still be driving, getting stuck in the same traffic day after day after day with it never occurring to them that there is an alternative.

So yes, ha ha bloody ha!!

Traffic jams in Britain are small affairs compared with the traffic I've encountered in developing countries. I was once foolish enough to visit Kampala where so much public money is stolen that there's been almost zero expenditure on the roads since the British left. It took me over two hours to drive the 3 kms from my agent's office to the hotel; I'd have taken a "boda boda" motorcycle taxi except that that would have been a bit unfair on the poor bloke from the office who had been given the job of driving me to my hotel.
