Is it me, or is cycling to work like cycling uphill through treacle in a Turkish bath at the moment?

It was rather warm and humid once the rain stopped but I didn't need to rush and the Lilac by the cycle track smelled FANTASTIC.

my inward route is downhill, I like a warm morning as I get the breeze benefit. going home uphill on the other hand......

This morning was fine, slight rain, but comfortable. Yesterday on the way home, well I got wet.

Not from the South West of London they weren't - proper pouring it down to the extent our garden and paths were under inches of standing water. Ashamed to say I bailed and took the train

We had it a little bit later..monsoon conditions from about 9.30am onwards.

That would be it - kept me awake from 4.30am (damn noisy Velux windows!). Not often I give in to the weather, but on this occasion it was an executive decision to bring forward my weekly rest day
