I don't have a name for my bike, although I do find myself humming/singing in my head, that hideous Bon Jovi sung about a 'steel horse I ride' (even though my bike is aluminium!) and Silver Machine by Hawkwind. I also sing High Gear by Jon Spencer Blues Explosion when the wind is in my hair! It is actually about driving a truck full of dubious cargo and...well, here it is:

Shinto is my Galaxy tourer...solid, stubborn, mule of a bike I can rely on ..load carrier

I now have a peugot premier as well...not sure what to call it yet..

Er, I don't name my bikes, or my cars. Or my fridge, cooker, bed or any of my other posessions. Even the cat is usually known as "The Cat".
