I cant see the problem , swmbo is out at bingo and the kids in bed so i have retaped the commuters bars and changed back to the old wheel set .

Mechanical forms of transport are always referred to in the female sense.
I have trouble with that but I put it down to im not left footed or the pedals are defective . Now and again I blame the shoes .Look Keo 2 Max. Went OK, with much fumbling around to get the 2nd foot in. If I have to stop on a steep hill I'm screwed
