Should i wear it and would you wear it? ;)

Definitely wear it. If you are comfy then it doesn't matter what anyone says/thinks

Shame, although, that said, its probably wise, I mean, can you imagine the road rash if you fell off??
I still have scars from road rash after coming a croper with a bolting horse at speed when I was wearing boots and johds. I can only imagine what road rash is like with such shortie shorts.

Bloody sore I think (and if going at enough speed or on a rough enough surface, also rather revealing I imagine)!!

Anyway, I hope you recover soon!!

Recover? That road rash was 25 years ago and I can still see the scars from the council's fresh bloomin' chippings. The horse, btw, was fine. He weighed a good 3/4 of a ton more than me and had nary a scratch.^_^

I'm wearing my ShareTheDamnRoad.com jersey today. I had it made a few years ago, with a custom message on the front and back which states "MY TAXES PAY FOR THIS ROAD", in nice large letters and 2 words per line. Unfortunately I don't get many comments on it from motorists. I guess I should have made the message a bit more obvious, e.g. "CAR REGO DOESN'T BLOODY PAY FOR THE ROADS YOU MORONS SO QUIT PESTERING ME!", but that wouldn't fit very well, I guess .

I thought about printing a Cycle jersey with "Mavis... not Effin' Cyclist" but John said not a good idea as a driver may run me down trying to read it!
