Is it safe to wear my latest jersey?

this afternoon? I wore my Colombia jersey yesterday and got a few Grrrs!! I don't think cycling should be associated with football but that's how some think! Should i wear it and would you wear it?

We are not playing Columbia so why would the Grrs be associated with football, and a German shirt to me is a definite no no , would be like the Scottish or Welsh wearing an England Shirt.

Well, I wore it in today and borrowing from the Dialogue thread this is how it went this morning:

Work Colleague: 'Bit of a non-compliance there with that shirt.'
Me: 'Not at all, i'm wearing it in honour of our thrashing of Ronaldo and his mates the other night. I'm going to be an honorary German for the duration of the world cup.'
Work Colleague: Silence accompanied by a resigned shake of the head

(sigh) I've been wearing my ShareTheDamnRoad.com jersey with "MY TAXES PAY FOR THIS ROAD" on it all week, but no comments from Australian motorists. They may be aggressive, intolerant, impatient, cyclist-intolerant <insert_derogative_slang_appellation_here>, but they're basically all acting like my forum avatar!

The one i bought is fine. It's a winter jersey but i've worn it on recent cool days and it does the job! Not bad at all,and for 16 quid it's a bargain!
