Sainsbury's has been selling Christmas stuff since the end of August, complete pain in the arse trying explain to a 3 year old that Christmas is months away.

How about you bring it out on 24/12/11 and put it way again on 26/12/11

I am becoming jealous of the house over the way didnt take its christmas lights down all year, as I will have to be up that bloody ladder stringing up the lights in 8 weeks time.

Next year i may suggest to the wife that we just leave them up all year. That will go down well!

Or don't bother putting up the sodding things in the first place? Or is that the fast track to sleeping on the sofa?

I did find my hand hovering over a pack of mince pies in Tesco the other day before I remembered we are only in October!!!

I can feel the Christmas weight going on already :surrender:

Hmmm, external lights, yes we put some up but I do so under duress. Unless you spend time sitting outside looking at your house, what's the point?
