As a kid we went around to my Aunts house on Christmas Eve every year. We would arrive early evening and they would still be putting up the decorations. We thought this so odd as our had been up for about five weeks already.

Now I am an old git myself, I quite like the idea of bunging them up on christmas eve for one week. I understand shops want to put them up in November to whip us into a spendy mood but at home...
