Is my Allez 07 or 08?

Is there a way to lookup which model and year my bike is, from the serial number or Edinburgh Cycles sticker number.

Or can anyone tell from a photo?

I think it may be the 2007 model and not the 2008, but I'm not sure since they both look similar.

The person who sold me it said it was 2008, but this may have just been a mistake, and I'm not really bothered because he kept it in excellent nick.

It's components are a Sora Crank set, Sora Front Dérailleur, and Tiagra rear Dérailleur. I'm not sure about the brakes, since they aren't labelled. There is a bit of play in the bottom bracket, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was an '07 model.

It looks a lot like the 07 model, but mine is a 52 chainring, and doesn't have sugino cranks.

The smallest sprocket is a 12, I'm not sure about biggest.

I took my SWorks into the Spesh Store in Birmingham to find out it's 'year of production'. The shop at the Fort.

They said "nice bike", but were confused because according to their info, the frame wasn't from a European import spec'.

"Must have been brought in seperately" he said.

"Most of the components are different ( lighter ) than what was on the OTP bikes from the year when this frame was made. Must have been custom built" were also comments.

"Very probably" I replied. "The original owner raced for Mike Vaughan Cycles".

If the frame decals is the thing that will date it then you have a 2007.

I have a 2007 catalogue & the Allez in that looks like yours going by the decals, but not sure what the 2008 looks like

As said before its an 07 model

I previously owned the 08 model and the guy across the road had the 07. They are extremely similar with different cranksets.
