in my alternate life as a golfer I'm a member of a few US forums, very different beast to the UK ones. Can require sense of humour bypass coupled with excessively polite, even hesitant, posting. Very good for reviews on kit and details of tinkering but you need to ignore the overt praise. Alternatively you can believe that each item is the absolute greatest ever made and will fill you with Godlike prowess in your activities.
