Big 5l tub of citrus degreaser from screw fix about £6 - just a capful in a spray bottle of water, good grief, this cleans oil of anything. Cleaned up my 16 year old car's engine bay like something else - spray on, rinse off. Fab for cleaning cassettes and chains on a MTB (remove said parts first). Wish I'd discovered this stuff before now.

I have a favourite (much used) brandy/Cognac balloon glass which for some reason has gathered a ring of what looked like lime scale......on the outside.
I could not shift it.
A quick "google" advised a mix of water, detergent and malt vinegar.
Did that. Less than one minute and bingo! As clean and shiny as a clean shiny thing.

Have you been drinking cheap hooch again.

I've got this urge to stick that in a vice and smack the end with a hammer.

Got black mould on the silicone mastic round your bath/shower/ sink? Get some loo paper and twist into a "rope". Soak it with Domestos and press it onto the mouldy joint. Then mush it up. Leave for a few hours...….and bye-bye mould.

I triple guarantee it.:thanks:
I can vouch for that. It's much more effective than those largely useless mould remover sprays.
