I'm looking to mount my digital camera to the top of my helmet but I don't have any money to spend. Any suggestions?

Alternatively, a Gorrillapod, but it'll be heavy and will hurt your neck/back after a while

Source: I tried similar.

Is there anything which can't be fixed with cable ties and superglue?

This year's bodges have often taken advantage of all those wrecked inner tubes I seem to have gathered over the winter. Elastic, non-slippy, kind to paintwork, knots hold well and it feeds easily through the vents in a helmet. My helmet currently sports a inner tube light holder - it works well.

[QUOTE 1793012, member: 9609"]Dump the helmet, cut a small hole in the turn-up of an old woolly hat for the lens to go through
