Nothing, but if he has to spend £100-150 on new wheels with the T3, then better get the Sora on the T5 IMO

I am assuming that the T5 is worth the £150 more, the OP suggests that the sales girl was feeding him a line to stop him changing to the cheaper bike

it's a 9 speed derailleur on an 8 speed chain, narrower cage and wider chain = rub, I sorted it in the main for my lad by sticking a 9 speed chain on.
