Hello, I been offered the sale of this bike for £750. It was built by the guy selling it.

Yes and no - it's not got the original kit. Oh, and the shifters are 8 speed whereas the chain and cassette are 10-speed so they'll struggle to work together.

It appears as if he's got hold of the frame and thrown a load of mis-matched parts onto it.

Very odd mix of parts. Claris and Tourney bits are entry level. When £800 gets you a carbon frame, SRAM Rival 22 groupset, same wheels plus a warranty at Planet X, I would give this a miss.

No. As previous posters have said, irrespective of how good the frame is, Claris & Tourney are entry level spec'. You could probably get much better 2nd hand for £750.

I'd steer clear, there's far better second hand bikes out there...
