Is this worth £300

Someone selling near me just wondering if it’s worth it as I have no idea.

How old is it? Go and have a look and check it over. Could be good but could be well worn and need money spending.

Used as a winter Bike with a 53/39 chain set.

Cant see it being in good fettle.

Equipment-wise it'll be old 10 speed, 105/Ultegra 53/39 would put it 2008-2011.

Whether it's worth that much will depend very much on condition: if it's hardly used then possibly. If new chainrings / chain / cassette / cables / etc. are needed then no. Winter use can take a lot out of a bike and mine tend to need a lot of work after a hard winter's use.

Whenever I see anything described as "fair condition" it's usually a euphemism for being in a pretty bad state.

To be honest I had a look and it was quite battered so obviously I said no thanks for the advice :-)

Coming in late and agreeing what has already been said , best thing to do is go and look at goods offered then decide .

There are some good lightly used bargains out there you just got to find them
