Is Wiggle still considered iffy?

I've never had a problem with Wiggle on the few occasions I've used them but they aren't that cheap any more. They certainly deliver in double quick time in my experience.

What I have noticed is that if I have a look on Wiggle then I get Wiggle adverts on other sites which highlight exactly the items I was looking at. I find this a bit intrusive.
That's more like a Google persistent cookie. You can down load an opt out for targeted advertising which avoids this problem. I'll see if I can find it.

I've only used Wiggle a couple of times. Last time they sent me a chain instead of the Powerlink I ordered. Even though it was their fault, they wouldn't send the powerlink until the chain was back, which I thought was a bit off. They did refund my postage though.

They might not be the cheapest but their returns is second to none and there are usually very nice vouchers going that make them competitive!

Wiggle used to be cheap. Then a couple of years ago they were bought by some kind of venture capital company. And the inevitable has happened.

Yup. That's when the prices changed.. It's also when I started using Wiggle less frequently.

I've ordered from them dozens of times - only one mistake IIRC and lots of sweets/bottle-openers.

I don't use them quite as much as I used to (although I am a Platinum customer - get me). Now I tend to get their sale stuff, or if I want something in a hurry...

I use them quite a lot and have bought loads of things off Wiggle over the last few years.

Often, they are not the cheapest, but this can be quite small amounts in the whole scheme of things.

If their price is in the ball park of the cheapest (perhaps a few pounds dearer) then I would rather use wiggle as I find the following:-

1. Very quick delivery - usually next day (even on the free option)
2. Exemplary returns service, no problems whatsoever
3. Warranty issues, I have had a couple of items I have had to return and both times, these were handled quickly and efficiently to my complete satisfaction
4. If they make a mistake(which is rare), it is rectified very quickly.
5. All correspondence regarding the above issues is dealt with very quickly. That said, I would prefer a telephone number to use, but the email system works very well.

Sometimes customer service and peace of mind is worth paying a little extra for

i've always found wiggle quite good and if you wait for their sales (or spend £25 give £5 off vouchers) you can get stuff cheaper than elsewhere. Also like the fact they stock carradice now with free p+p
