"Is Wout finished?" thread.

Wout is class, but there's definitely something amiss with him post that Vuelta crash. I was half expecting a statement from the team post Roubaix that he has been carrying an illness or injury. Fundamentally, he's a victim of the fact that we're watching two phenomenal riders dominate almost every race at the moment and he's just not on that level. Even Pedersen seems to be slightly ahead of him in the classics pecking order at the moment.

Is this a JumboVisma thing as much as a Wout thing? In 2023, they not only won all three GTs but also Tirreno, Catalunya, Basque Country, Dauphine, Omloop, KBK, E3, and Gent-Wevelgem. Last year, they only cracked the top 10 in a GT due to Jonas' 2nd in the Tour, didn't manage a top 10 in any monument, with their biggest result being Paris-Nice. It hasn't really improved this season either.
