Sure he's a decent rider - but the hype and air time he gets is out of whack with what he actually delivers.

One thing is certain: those things are hard to measure. But let's assume you're right... what are the most likely reasons? You may have yours, but I'll give you two:
- his sponsors are bribing the journos*. Or
- cycling fans actually like the guy.

*and all the biased fans on the internet...

Jeez, he's really got under your skin hasn't he, @kingrollo What did he do, spill your pint and show no remorse or something?

Nothing against him personally - he's just riding his bike and doing his job .

I just don't get this massive media lovin in with him. I mean he's getting more kudos than Simon Yates - whose just won the giro.

For a guy whose won a few stages here and there the over hype is getting ridiculous.

I don't mind anybody liking him and I can offer no reason as to why he gets this amount of coverage. But for sure there are guys equal to WVA who fly pretty much under the radar in comparison.

So it's a classics race on tarmac lumpy but not too mountainous. You got MVP, Pog and WVA up the road..
Who would win and why?

Obviously Pog but if the other two gang up in him?

Could pog out sprint either of them??

Discuss!!
We had that at E3 in 2023 and Wout won. 🤷‍♂️

Maybe Rollo is really Peta Todd and wanted Cav to retire 4 years ago.

Yes, come to think of it, ruining Cav's party on the Champs Elysées was a big black mark against him. Boo! Hiss! Bad Wout!

And MVP won yesterday!
The statement prior presupposed that those 3 are away and up the road and how things would then turn out. That was not the case yesterday (because Wout didn't come to play).
I think in that scenario each of them has a 33% chance of winning, if they are all in top shape. Pog will win if there is still a decisive climb. Otherwise it depends on how much WVA and MvdP look at each other when Pog attacks or who closes that attack down. It's probably as much of a dice throw as you can have nowadays.
