Hadn't heard of this event.

I ended up not doing the Randonnee on 6th September because I felt I'd done far too little endurance riding through the heatwaves and at a longer distance, the same will apply to this event. Not to mention my old lower back injury has has flared up big time in the last week or so.

Survived …. 40 mm wasn’t wide enough for sections of the route
Unfortunately a fair few riders left batter cut and bruised - one even broke their collarbone
