Islington Police - City Rd/Colebrook Rd junction

Hi just wondered was on my daily Walthamstow > Westminster chug and noticed near the college there is a cut through used ny many savvy cyclists and there is often a bike doctor person there, earlier this week think it was either Tues/Wed I think there were Met officers there checking over bikes etc or seemed to be be helping just thought I'd enquire I was fashionably late for work so didnt stop!

Anyone shed any light on this?

I wish Hampshire Constabulry would do something like this. They only go to schools and stamp £50 BSO's.
