I'm trying to install a new ISM saddle (have one of their saddles on my old bike), and following their instructions to set back the saddle 5-8cm back from the previous stock saddle. Only trouble is I can get it 3cm back, but then the rails have a 'max' marking on tbem, but I can't tell if that is to say don't allow that point to sit further back than the foremost part of tbe clamp, or the middle of the seat post, or the back of the clamp? Anyone have any ideas as ISM's own install videos and instructions are silent on the matter.
