I've met quite a few of the CC glitterati over the years on various group rides and the odd FNRttC. It's always interesting to see how the real personalities match up with the forum 'fronts'. Although probably not up to bonj levels, I think I'm a little more reticent in real life.

Years ago, a group of us from one of the other websites met up in the pub at Freshwater following the IoW Randonnee

One guy was telling us how he had been lectured on personal safety by his (12yo?) daughter as he should NOT be arranging to meet strangers off the Internet!

You have no idea of who they are or what they are like..........

I have met several members on various rides, events and trips.

There's some funny optical effects going on there. Ms Fluffles appears to be a lot slimmer, whereas it's had quite the opposite effect on me!
