Sad news tonight, Issac Hayes has died aged 65.

For the uninitiated he was the man who gave us, amongst other things, the theme to the film 'Shaft' and he also lent his voice to the character of 'Chef' in South Park.

RIP Brother.

I'm sure he has playing credits / writing credits on some of Otis Redding's work - and his own stuff was superb, a very talented man indeed. I'll be listening to his set from the Wattstax concert, and maybe throwing on Hot Buttered Soul at some point in memoriam.

Incindetally, does anyone have the fold out sleeve version of Black Moses? Superb.
