It can go too far

I still have my Mum's wedding dress

and no - I wasn;t there in person!!!

and i have no clue what to do with it

can;t just lob it into the bin

keep intending to find a theatre group or something and ask if they can use it
it is not even a "white Wedding Dress" type thing - just a very smart knee length very smart blue dress

Was it bespoke for her? Do you have any documentation with it?
My wife just donated her mother's wedding dress and accompanying documentation to the museum in the city where it was made in the 1950s. They were very happy to add it to their collection.

I have just one cycling top left.My works team, the team i started.Royal Mail. That top will have to be destroyed. My son has been today and taken the best three tops and the brand new summer tights. The rest much older stuff went in a Slaters carrier bag, well if you are going out.go out in style. The shoes also went out in a Slaters bag,so that's it,it has been great.Cycling saved my life i took it up late 86 or early 87,to fill in the long empty days going through my divorce, when i had to stop doing overtime,to show a basic wage to the court for payments.Thank you cycling for the scenery the cake the bacon sarnies the coffee the places the cafes just everything.I now need a new hobby,i might just trawl charity shops for second hand fashionable clothes.I don't think anyone has thought of that.
Offer your items to people, I am sure there will be plenty on here who'd be interested

Thanks - no - it is "just a dress"
she refused to wear white because my Dad refused too wear a morning suit as he would have looked a prat in it for several reasons

might be an idea to look for a small museum in that area though

thanks
