I think that C+ had the same feel as CC does. I missed it at first but I prefer here now. I liked the old background colour scheme though. TBH its hard to remember

C+ got to be very cliquey near the end and too many people took it far too seriously. Most of those people left and went somewhere else when it became BikeRadar, so as far as i was concerned BR was an improvement over what C+ had become. BR probably still has an edge when it comes to getting help with technical questions, but never seems to have developed a sense of community - which is the real strength of this forum.

I enjoyed C+ when it was going but after the BR take over I didn't like it so much. I came here and thought I'd give it a try, liked it and have stayed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was on Bike Radar for quite a while, but didn't post as near as much as I do here.. then suddenly realised that all was not well. Stuck with it for a while then realised peeps had moved to here so thought I should do also.
Still have a nosey at the BR forum from time to time, along with the YACF and CTC forums.

I remember the great meltdown... I'd just posted summat on C+ which I then had second thoughts about as I was getting some lunch... tried to log back in to delete my post, and it didn't work... thought I'd been banned or something! Tried bike radar for a bit, but didn't take to it, and then somee eejit started calling me rather rude names for asking some question or other... can't remember how I found this place (presumably a link from there, too), but saw Arch's name, and reckoned at least there'd be elephants, cakes, tea, that sort of thing... I come on here most days, write a load of drivel and then bu99er off again, but it's a bit of fun, very informative from time to time, and has me laughing my head off at other times... I spend most of my days sat in front of a screen ,and it's great light relief... Cheers all!

I do venture into BR occasionally to have a look, but generally find it far less helpful than here...especially in the beginners section, quite frequently posts don't get any replies.

The changeover from c+ was weird - I remember asking where everbody had gone, but the mods were deleting all links to this forum, someone rescued me by pm in the end, so I ended up here and stayed!

CC was around for a while, it just didn't take off. I visited it a few times, there was nothing happening. Then after BR happened loads of C+ types just parachuted in.
