900 moving parts... How on earth does one go about putting all the workings together to include 24 functions! Even allows for leap years and shows sunrise/set times all this in a wind up mechanical watch, staggering. Imagine setting it getting all that in sync.

Someone at work made the comment of what would you do when the innards had collected a load of pocket fluff like the inside of your mobile phone does, even though they appear to be very well sealed, someone piped up and said a quick squirt of WD40 and a blast out with the airline would do the trick  knowing him he would, heathen.

I've wrecked watches at work, but dropping a pallet on a wristwatch  how was the arm? And thats an everyday thing, are you Chuck Norris?

(Hang on, you can't be Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris doesn't have a watch, he decides what time it is.
well, the pallet sort of slid down my arm whilst i was carrying it and yes my arm was rather grazed but i survived! and yeah TBH chucking pallets about or having hay bales thrown at me or smashing some body part fairly hard against something is a pretty normal working day for me (oh, and everyday is a working day here )
got the odd scar here and there and dozens of scratches and cuts etc to prove it ;)

you soon get used to it
Cheers Ed

OT @young Ed Reminds me, I once slid my arm down full stretch between 2 pipes to reach for something the bloke I was with dropped between them. I then found it was a monkeys paw type situation as I couldn't get my arm back out due to the watch I had on that wrist. Had to get him to go around the other side so he could unfasten the watch bracelet and release me, once he'd finished laughing at me of course
