I've been getting chin freeze these last couple of days. The warm fuzzy glow is lovely when you thaw out .

Cos I was only riding around town, like a fool, I left my gloves at home. D'oh!! Several hours, much freezing rain/sleet and ten stalagmites tenuously and painfully bonded to my palms later I realised the enormity of my error!

daughter's debut for macc town was called off for the weather, so we had a good kickabout in the snowy park instead.

Set off for work at 7.30 a.m. and it was -3c! Was very careful in trying to spot any ice, but bless the council they had the gritters out early. 14 miles later out side work I was very toasty.

2 for a ped. is cold. For a cyclist its glacial 6 - 4 a ped. is fine, but for a cyclist is general...but still work to get warm !
