Bit like Russian Roulette but with a spag bol that I made last night. It's Papa Easytiger's secret recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation (well...I read it in a book somewhere a long time ago).
It takes at least 6 hours to cook, includes a kilo and a half of mince and two pack of bacon - not to mention a bottle of red wine! Damn good though!

Only problem is: last night after tea, Mrs Easytigers went to bed with a dicky tummy (no rude jokes please) and I woke up and the world fell out of my bottom (sorry for being graphic). Have felt a lot better throughout the day btw. The only thing we both ate that was the same was the spag bol but all of the ingredients were fresh/well within date and like I said, I cooked it for 6 hours!

So we come to tea tonight...we've 5 batches of said spag bol left...do we go for it, have it for tea and freeze the rest, and hope we just caught a slight tummy bug, or ditch the lot???

take one round to a friend..." We cooked too much..." see what happens, then decide.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
What else did you both eat during the day. Did you both eat exactly the same thing? If you ate exactly the same thing, then the culprit may be something else, that you both ate. The bottom line (no pun intended) is, if in doubt, chuck it out. Don't take any chances.

I had to go into work yesterday (even though it is the holidays...took one for the team) so as far as I can recall, it was the only thing that we ate that was the same. I know what you mean about being safe but it just galls me that I made enough for 6 meals in total and 5 will have to go in the bin :-( Wise advice though I guess...

If it is the only thing you both ate, then it is probably the spag bol that gave you both the squirts. Dump (ahem) the lot. You don't want you and your OH to suffer again do you?

Me...definitely not!!! Her...I'm not too worried about (she always moans that she wants to lose a few pounds!)
how many £'s do you want to lose? dump the spag bol instead. it will be cheaper in the long run!

(Pun intended....)
