Now this could be the big upset we've been waiting for - although of course, Paraguay were pretty damn good in qualifying and Italy are not the team they were 4 years ago.

I'm listening on the radio, so I didn't get the full effect, but the commentators keep making the point that the core of the team is from Juventus, who are not all that, and also that none of the Inter team were Italian (!!??!!quoi?) which sort of undercuts the rather elevated status of the Azurri. And the Paraguayans are no mugs.
