I can't see how it could have happened. The deformation of the windscreen suggests the pole came down through it, and I can't see any way the car could have got where it is with that happening.

The pole is broken into two parts (the stump is under the car) so the detached part has penetrated the windscreen, probably by rebounding under the tension of whatever wires the pole was supporting.
