According to the Cambridge News, yesterday a bus broke down and...

"Passengers had to be put on a following bus."

And now today I read about some dummy grenades that were found in someone's garden...

"From the scene, Pc Chris Watson said: “.... They are not explosive.”

"The woman who lives in the house, who did not wish to be named, was relieved to hear it.".

I can hardly wait to find out what tomorrow might bring.

Some months back, the York Press reported on a tea towel catching fire on a hob. The householder put it in the sink, and it was out by the time the fire brigade arrived (I have to assume there was an automatic fire alarm in the building). The tea towel was slightly damaged.

That got a whole column inch!
