Attempting to buy birthday cards for my daughters yesterday in Middlesbrough. I spotted two women stocking up personalised Christmas cards. Jeeze what's going on. Still couldn't decide on the cards birthdays on Monday!

About three years or so ago, Tesco had loads of Christmas-themed cup cakes (very nice they were too, with chocolate and whiskey buttercream) on yellow sticker and it was the week between Halloween and Bonfire Night... Think they were down to 5p a pack or something stupid like that. The mind boggles...
