Feels like winter, I am trying to work and am wrapped up in long trousers, thick socks and lots of layers including a thick fleece. I am still cold! Its 20th August!!!! Anyone got their heating on?

Thoughts go out to anyone on a UK camping holiday now.

The chill is not confined to the UK. I was shivering in Budapest and Vienna last week. Mind you it was relative. The temperatures were 21-23 degrees compared with 32+ from the week before.

Just got back from my ride, t shirt and 3/4 shorts on, bit of a wind and feels like september but not that bad.

I think perhaps the sudden drop has taken our bodies by surprise. Its not cold per say, we are just used to it being a lot warmer over the last month or so...?

Up at my end of Hampshire it is 16. It seems freezing cold indoors and I have just popped outside into the sun to warm up.

not cold at all really. am still sleeping on top of the duvet and windows are open overnight.

camping last week in cornwall was good fun too.
