You are a fool, and hopefully under water like every eel.

lol. It's good, but it's not right. - I can't believe that i can't find a clip where it only has Roy Walker saying that.

It's hardly a rare abbreviation.

Just for context, because i'm sure AICMFP is not a common abbreviation. I did a little Google of some abbreviations that i'm aware of - well mainly all the ones i chose to remember anyhow.

AICMFP - About 14,800 results (0.30 seconds)

LOL - About 359,000,000 results (0.25 seconds)
ROFL - About 10,600,000 results (0.21 seconds)
BRB - About 11,700,000 results (0.25 seconds)
WTF - About 69,900,000 results (0.23 seconds)
BTW - About 65,900,000 results (0.17 seconds)

So yeah, there is no arguing with the results - it's a rare abbreviation.

Close to a frost the weather man said this morning out of town centres

I can't believe it's got to that stage of the year already. :/ I'm still going to rock the shorts and t-shirt for as long as i can bare it.

Ahhhhhh but they are google results . You should try it with bing and other search injuns to get a true scale of results .
Please do post the results of all search injuns before you make wild claims about abbreviations again .

Just cycled back the 15 miles from Ely station in the twylight and it was certainly fresh! Saw 3 barn owls though so it took my mind off the chill.

3 degrees overnight on Warcop Fell overnight apparently. Then again, that would be the least of your problems on a bike, its a military firing range! All the same, yes it is a bit cool but girven the weather in these islands,it could all change again, and for the warmer.

11.5C at 7.15am today.

Had the heating on for a couple of hours this evening as it was chilly. Have done the same the last few days.

Mrs SD wants me to start lighting fires (we have an open one) in the evenings but I am resisting as it'll get too hot then!

No that's simply a case of confirmation bias.

Try searching for those abbreviations within cyclechat and I think that you'll find that the CC environment drastically alters the relative popularity of the abbreviation.

You haven't been around the CC environment long enough to see its fairly frequent use.

Where is the bias in searching a database of billions of websites across the world covering millions of different topics and written in thousands of languages? A bias would be if i did a filtered search, EG. searching only on a specific website, like cyclechat.net. AICMFP is used by a minority, therefore it is a rare abbreviation.

A confirmation of confirmation bias.

Your affirmation is statistically flawed.

Feels like winter, I am trying to work and am wrapped up in long trousers, thick socks and lots of layers including a thick fleece. I am still cold! Its 20th August!!!! Anyone got their heating on?

Thoughts go out to anyone on a UK camping holiday now.
Down in Devon in a static caravan and when I woke up this morning the thermometer on my alarm clock said 13c, inside the caravan! Heating was switched on very fast!!! It's more like February than August! :cold:

I was out working in sunny Blackburn today. The forecast was for cold winds and showers with the odd sunny interval, but it was warm in the sun and pleasant in the shade. I'm still wearing shorts though i wore a light fleecy jersey instead of a t-shirt,

The storks are never wrong! Usually they pass over us in Egypt in September. This year they started at the beginning of August! A sign of cold weather coming early in Europe. Which usually means we get the opposite and will explain the 40 degrees every day.
