It's becoming more like most forums I've frequented over the years. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

I enjoy a good debate as much as the next man, but I don't like to see debates descend into name calling, which seems to be happening more often recently.

My time here varies, but selecting the 'what's new' option seems to give an indication of the hot topics of the day.

Well, it is cold here with fresh snow on the hills around, strong northerly winds with sleat and too many white horses on the sea, but I admit Arctic was an exagerration .

Most of the cranky posts seem to stem not from the cold weather, but from bad tempered discussions about computer simulations of global warming.
