I survived the night! Actually I slept quite well. Just kept my socks and top and a jumper on (I'm normally a shorts only man). Getting out of bed wasn't nice though!:ohmy:xx( The temp gauge in my lounge said 11C this morning and falling.

I've got work I am doing from home at the moment So I am sat in bed, wearing several layers with the covers over me, rubbing my hands next to the fan outlet of my portable. Juts wiggling my toes just now I realised that my big toes have gone numb. Mmmm. Maybe time for another pair of sock!

This is the life! :sun:

Crackle, if that is the case, I'm concerned about getting the quotes in for the kitchen work that we need done......:ohmy:xx(;)

When it's that cold the only answer is to go to bed with an electric blanket switched on. It's the only way I survived during a cold spell I endured in a rented house during a cold spell in Yangzhou in China!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Luckily the D&V is on the way out, so to speak, just feeling rough.

Still, the one plus side is that I was supposed to be working tomorrow, but the NHS doesn't want you back until after 48 hours. Although there is heating, of sorts, at work....
I think it's 48hrs clear of D&V so it should be Tuesday or maybe Wednesday before you go back to work.

Aye, but my last D was early yesterday morning so I'll be ok. Anyway I'm not in the office tomorrow. Off to a meeting in Dundee. Quite happy to pass it on there...:eek:
