Saw that unusual thing yesterday. Pleased to report that things are back to normal today; 60 mph gusts of wind and plenty rain.

Gorgeous day here on the beach. It's been a good winter so far woth more days like this than not.

Lovely here today but there was frost on the roof tiles this morning so ditched the idea of commuting today.
But I shoved my bike on the back of the Landy and plan to get out prompt at 5pm and see if I can get a couple of hours in before I get too cold.
At least 1 hour should be in the sunshine

Astonishingly, I too saw that strange orb thing too, today. And did so without being blown backwards, sidewards or upwards on my bike.

By golly, it was cold though. Had to do the woolly hat under the helmet, resulting in the worst bad hair day in a long time.

If you'd timed that photo right you'd have caught me riding over the footbridge.

And, yes, sunny with little wind so it felt much warmer than the thermometer shows.

I saw it as well, and went for a ride under it. However, I can assure you that it was most definitely NOT like summer, as the three layers I had on top were testament to!
