We will be celebrating our 40th Anniversary in September. Like most people we've had our ups and downs but I think we both made the right choice - well, I know I did.

Well I will have chalked up 4 years this NewYears Eve and we get happier every day I highly recommend marriage but only if its with the right person
I wasted 14 years with Mr Very wrong untill I came to my senses one morning and realised if i stayed much longer i doubt id live to see my 40s so i summoned up all the courage i had and left.
Im now with someone id known for all of that time as a friend(he was married)and one day suddenly it just hit us both that we were meant for eachother.The first 12 months were awful as I had to move back home to sell my house and he had a divorce to get sorted but then once we were totally free we bought our own house and got married the year after.I dont regret anything as all the cr*p has made me realise just what iv got now.and will never take it for granted.
So I am now fast aproaching 4-0
but have my soulmate,a lovely home with no mortgage,and feel more settled than I ever hoped i could be.Would love more money but what we have is worth much more.
