It's raining again ........ hard

Rain has hopefully passed for now. Was chucking it down and very windy earlier but the sun is out again now. Hopefully will stay that way for my ride home

Luckily it was damp in the air but not raining on my way in this morning, my backside got quite soggy though with some earlier rain splashing up from the ground! We had an almighty shower this morning, hoping there's no repeat performance in about 2 hours' time when I leave. Some grey cloud patches blowing through the blue skies at the moment...

As I look out of the office window over Sighthill & Wester Hailes I can see the autumn sunlight lighting up the Pentland hills above Torphin in a golden glow.

Huge wonderful double rainbow out of my office window at the moment - I'm sure the rain is waiting for the ride home.

I was at Tesco earlier (by car) and in spite of waiting several minutes go soaked through just walking to the car.

I then went for a 10k run and managed to get a clear spell. Apart from having to run through foot deep puddles early on......shoes will take days to dry

Got absolutely drenched this morning and with no where to dry them out or leave them without them being nicked its in a locker they went till i was ready for the return trip , cold and damp lycra .

Guess i will have to beg the wife for more kit for x-mas so i can keep a spare spare at work.

You have a window ???? I work in a parts department with no windows so the only way i know what is happening outside is if it is very warm then it must be sunny or i can hear the rain bouncing on the roof !
Missed the big rain on the ride home,just had to dodge motorists who must still be in summer mode !

where i am is in the middle of toyotas weld shop full of industrial robots and sparks flying about, we have no windows either and you do not even know if its day or night let alone whether the weather is raining etc .

I got a lift into Edinburgh today and then took the train home to Fife.

After a cramped journey spent watching the man opposite me devour the contents of his nose whilst another guy next to me picked his teeth and sounded like a camel with TB - I cannot wait to get back on the bike tomorrow rain or shine.

PS - forecast is good tomorrow

Me too Summerdays,missed most of it this morning but made up for it tonight,rained all the way home,great to see a big queue of traffic though and go right down the side of it.
