Lashing it down tonight. Luckily I had a meeting at my lads School at 9am and had to get to a meeting for 10am so had to drive in.

Usually I cycle in on Thursdays too.

Ho hum for tomorrow (It always rains on a Friday IMO)

xx( Got well and turly soaked last night riding home even though the wind was behind and again this morning although wind right in my face . Have now used all my dry cycle clothing, hopefuly the other set at home will have dried by tomorrow. That's the beauty of Lycra. Still shoes nice and dry with Endura MT500s and of course feet nice and warm.

Hmm I now have 4 pairs of gloves drying (1 set from yesterdays torrential stuff), but on the whole didn't get too wet myself due to the waterproofs. Dark here though already tonight - put lights on the youngest child's bike for cycling home at 3.30pm.

Unlucky Mr C. It was pretty horrible hereabouts last night (I measured half an inch of rainfall in half an hour here in Swaff B.) Sounds like you have the right gear though. I tend to just wear the bare minimum (less to dry out later) and keep my work stuff dry in the panniers. BTW which side of Cambridge do you commute from/ into? - wondered if you might sometimes fly past me (as most folks do  )

Absolutely chucking it down today in my neck of the woods. Annoying really as my new fizik Arione arrived in the post yesterday and I was looking forwards to fitting it and trying it out on my usual 25 mile loop.

Go away rain!!!!.

Yeah bucketed down on my 6am commute this morning.Got absolutely soaked but I was ready for it.

Absolute looney motorists this morning driving like it was a summer day at times.

Much nicer day today though!!. Passed quite a few guys out on bikes this morning on the way home from nightshift. Think I will get me new Arione fitted and go out for a quick loop after brekkie.
