It's Spring at last

Glad to hear some encouraging reports on the weather! It was -9C here, this morning...-8 yesterday. The soothesayers keep telling us that warmer weather is coming, but it just doesn't seem to get here. I'm getting really tired of long underwear, coats, gloves, etc. Keep giving the good weather reports! It's inspiring to know that SPRING is on the way!

Snow and 0C here this morning. Roads very slippy in places. Just took it carefully to make sure I got into work safely

I came in in a heavy long-sleeve t-shirt today. Got to work and realised I've forgotten my sweater (normally in my bag). It's going to be cold in the office.

Well was a touch colder today, but 'the return of winter' they're going on abotu in the forecasts is looking pretty pathetic compared to the proper one we had. Sunny atm, must have been approx 5C on the in this morning and the snow and hail tonight will be at a forecast temp of 3-5C, with back up to 10C in the day and sunny spells. If this is a return to winter, bring it on .

Very cold and icy this morning in Edinburgh / Leith. One scary half-fall-off on ice as I was coming to a stop to get off and walk down the icy downhill curving section beneath the track at Edinburgh Park station

For my own safety I might be wiser to leave the bike at home tomorrow as it's to be around -4 overnight tonight !

It was a good workout going home last night .. nice big strong headwind pretty much all the way. But thankfully I managed to beat the rain home by about half an hour.

It had all calmed down nicely this morning .. I've just been for a walk and it's actually rather pleasant outside at the moment.

We had snow here this am. Mr Plax wouldn't let me cycle in this morning - all I got was "you know what happened last time". I pointed out it wasn't actually snow, but ice that I fell off on, he said it was the same thing. So I gave up arguing in the end and went in the car. They don't grit down my road as it's a dead end so I had a job getting up the hill as the snow had settled nicely. Roads everywhere else were pretty much clear though and it's now nice and sunny at work!
